I would really like a good picture of me with my girls,I don't have a single nice one of the three of us, has anyone found a good photographer for this sort of thing? I live in Wales but could do London at a push.

Oh thanks for that-does she have a website or anything (flickr etc)?

We had some great photos taken by a chap called Guy at this place. Don't be put off by the not-at-all-flash website!! He doesn't take digital photos which imo make such a massive difference. We had photos taken with Venture which were so manipulated that not even my family recognise me on the final product. However, Guy's photography is absolutely lovely and I really cherish the images he captured of my boys - just as they are, not cutesy or posed.

Thanks again, yes i want something tender and natural that really gets my girls and shows how much I love them (is that too much to ask of a photo'?)!

hellymelly - I am a big big fan of Rebecca Portsmouth's work....

I think her style might be up your street too...

Please do look at the portraits gallery to get an idea of her portrait style.

[showing off emotion] The first picture in the family section is of my little girl!!! We had our portrait session in Covent Garden.... it was so so lovely!

Seriously - I can't say enough good things about her. I promise you with all my heart that I know Rebecca only as a customer - incase you are suspicious of a plug this strong!!! The only bad thing I would say about her is she was a little slow getting the final pics to us - but it was worth it for such outstanding pieces of art, such a lovely day and the choosing session was such great fun too. I seriously can't wait for an excuse to go back to her for another photo session!

Here is Rebecca's blog for more of her pics.... be careful it is really very addictive!!!!!

this chap has been recommended on here in the past - I keep meaning to contact him....

Baby Beatrice does look like a complete sweetheart but actually my dd is the toddler standing on a chair.

Hellymelly - We have three of our pictures up in our apartment and I still sit in-front of them somedays thinking "That is so so me and dh" or 'Aaaaawwww that really is my little girl" (depending on which ones I am looking at )- they are really magical pics! So thoughtfully and carefully taken.

I am keen to recommend Rebecca to you - her work is just spot on!

pippo - those pics are really nice too.....

Hellymelly - When you get pics taken please will you put them on your profile so we can all see?!?
