Did anyone see Cilla Black on Gok?

I don't like her anyway as she's false IMO but she was awful on here, bragging so much about her Bentley, her flight to NY to get jeans (cost of over 5k) and how she drinks top notch champers usually. She makes me want to throw up. Also she puts on that posh voice until she's around other 'real' scousers and then she's scouse again???

Don't get me wrong I don't envy wealth I just find it quite obscene when people go on like her.

yes GracieGrace at least we don't have her as a MIL to contend with.

I bet she's a total control freak and wouldn't let her hairstylist change a hair on her head. I'd be cringing if I was said hairstylist and people knew.

Only I can imagine he's a nice person though. He does well over the time stipulated when he does his show and is very funny live (apparently)

Marthasmama I went off her years ago when Bobby hadn't been long gone. She was being interviewed and said she'd never felt happier?? I think there's a screw loose to be honest. My mum went off her then too.

Really?! I remember her banging on about how much she missed him etc etc. Bloody woman. I've always found her annoying but last night, I wanted to slap her!

I know maybe it was a slip of the tongue? At first I thought it must be an old interview but it wasn't. It annoyed my mum so much as she'd lost my dad and couldn't understand anyone saying that?

dexter73 - can't tell you how tickled I was that your dh watches gok with you, even if only to perve on the models with their bangers hanging out of their Mango maxis.

My dh refuses to watch - he says it's because he can't bear it but really, it's so that he can waltz in at the end and test his fashion mettle by shouting "Gok!!" "Designer!" at the telly during the fashion face-off. He quite prides himself on being able to tell the difference.

I was thinking the same. I thought she was being exceptionally tasteless bearing in mind the current climate. People are losing their jobs left right and centre and there she is bragging about her £5k jeans, designer champagne and trips to Barbardos. Extremely bad taste and she showed herself up completely.

Does anyone have the link to the flight attendants rude celebrity thread. That would be a good read!

I watched this on replay last night after reading this thread and you are all right!

She came across as a vain, spoilt, materialistic, obnoxious old bag with the sartorial nous of one of Seigfried and Roy and the hairdo of one of the Bay City Rollers i.e. the one top right in this pic

I mean really her sense of "style" is atrocious! Dodgy leather jackets, school teacher-ey white shirts and jeans that should be on a 20 year old.

Mind you I once watched her on a show about the food of her childhood and she revealed that their "treat" was an orange cut in half and rubbed witha beef oxo cube

anyway, it's easy to tell which is which in the Gok v Designer battle.

The designer models wear 1 or 2 pieces, Goks wear between 30 -40 pieces.

DP loves Gok, his dream is for him to go shopping with us He didn't see the Cilla one but I've told him about it and hopefully he can catch it on demand?
