Hi - new to posting on this forum. All your comments and threads have got me through 3 miscarriages. But onto happier thoughts now DP and I are getting married on 14th August, but have left it too late to organise bridesmaids dresses with bridal compamnies It seems a second - informal relaxed wedding still needs a lot of organisation ! My problem is where to find lovely dresses for my older girls that don't make them look too grown up and adult, yet arn't little girly dresses that they will turn their noses up at... I was wanting ' hot' colours - burnt organge, corally , or cerise....
Has anyone wise advice???

I love that (grin) but i think that might be a bit too informal. My dress is a full on , full length, tight fishtail dress with small train. ( I have gone for a spanish look - as have booked a salsa band !

Could you get someone to make them? Gives you a lot more flexibility re colours and style. (Often works out a whole lot cheaper as well!)

Are you definitely too late to get bridesmaid dresses ? I know when I was looking, most designers were up to 12 weeks but could do a "rush" order in 8 (had to pay slightly more) ?

If not, agree dressmaker might be a good option. There would probably be one that your dress shop could recommend

Otherwise, I think the Monsoon coral one which ggirl linked to is very pretty

I can't keep up - you're all so helpful !! I love the M&S one, very spanish looking. and the pink monsoon one.

I will go and have a look at them if they have them in the Taunton shops. THANKYOU ALL.... this Mum's net is brilliant. (grin). So glad I plucked up the courage to post on here. xxxxxxxx

Hi trimummy - our local BHS sells wedding stuff and "teen" bridesmaid dresses - might be worth a look if you have one nearby. No idea of quality etc tho sorry. Have a great day
