I was looking in Clarks today and there is only 1 brown pair with a closed heel and I wanted to get him a blue pair aswell. Do open heeled sandals cause them to fall over more?

My DS won't wear open healed sandals because in his words 'his foot is hanging off without his socks on!' but he is a very fussy little bugger

When he did have a pair last summer he did'nt fall over any more than normal only thing I did find is if they are open toed too he would stop every now and again to adjust his feet like they were sliiping off the front, they were the right size so not sure if they were just uncomfy!

If you know his size try www.shoesforkids.co.uk they do clarks and other brands at a cheaper price!

Also Doodles are fab if you can't get sandles because they are still breathable!

I looked on shoes for kids before but the only pairs they had weren't the right width.

Just saw your thread so thought I would contribute. I have bought Clarks, Start-rite Chipmunks and Crocs from www.shoesforkids.co.uk.

I get them measured in my Start-Rite of Clarks shop and now buy all their shoes from www.shoesforkids.co.uk.

Why?

They are 1/2 the price, have a great range - and the lady who runs the company is fantastic. My shoes literally arrived in 24 hours from when I ordered them!

Have a look an make your own mind up?
