Colours - I sent them a long rambling email on this subject. I won't bore you with the details, but I now assume the colours onscreen are about 2 shades darker than the product in real life. But that might be my monitor.

Can't remember names of products I like, but all mineral stuff has been lovely.

Lulumama · 06/05/2009 20:04

thank you both ,that is useful

i do splash out on Benefit stuff, but like trying different shades for cheeks and lips so thought it was better to pay little for stuff i might use a few times.

did you get a reply to your email?

Yes, they did reply, and pretty fast too. I suggested they could post out colour cards which would sort out the problem of everyone's monitors showing different colours, but they said it was too expensive.

Their service has always been next-day and returns are damn quick too.

Lulumama · 06/05/2009 20:14

ok, so the shades are lighter in reality than they appear?? least they replied

Yes - the difference between how they look on my screen (darker) and what turns up is about 2 shades (lighter). But once you've ordered one thing you'll be able to tell from then on.

thank you
