I had a lovely pair of 3/4 running tights. Adidas made them - but can't remember the name. Tight and supportive and light. But they have come apart on the seam on the inside of my thighs. They have done me proud I suppose - 18m of wear 3 times a week. DH got me some others for my bday but they don't feel the same.

Also a running bra. I want one that keeps them still. I don't give a flying t*ss what they look like. Don't need a cleavage or uplift of any of that crap. If I could nail 'em down I would

Please tell me what to get. And where if possible. Less than 30 for the tights if poss.

I have the fourth ones from the bottom and I got them from here.

I can't remember what bra I've got and can't check because I'm at work.

I wear Ron Hills so can't help with the tights question but can really recommend Shock Absorber Bra - level 4 support. Keeps my 32Fs well under control.

OrmIrian · 06/05/2009 12:07

Thanks. I think shock absorber is the way to go norks wise.

Orm I have recently got these onesand I love them. However they are really quite tight. I am normally a 10 and it's a squeeze for me into their 10. I suppose it depends on how heartily-thighed you are.

Sorry can't help with norkage, as I don't have any.

TBCoalman · 06/05/2009 12:25

Ooh, yes my tights are a bit snug. Think Zara sizing rather than M&S when you order.

fishie · 06/05/2009 12:53

i've got adidas too. you are dead right m&m, you wouldn't want to go down a size!

have also got a pair of mizuno shorter tights but can't find a pic.

fishie · 06/05/2009 12:59

i've got freya active bra but as i have mentioned elsewhere it had a problem with the first hook and now john lewis don't have it online any more (i complained).

don't like shock absorber, it just sort of bundles my shelf into a hammock rather than supporting them solidly.

orm are you really up to 18m 3x a week?

OrmIrian · 06/05/2009 14:20

No I am not!

That was meant to be 18 months, 3 times a week.
