I used ambre solaire (light)spray tan last night. Dried clear, so couldn't see that I had done such a bad job, lots of streaks and only one side of legs done. Please can anyone advise how to get rid of it quickly. Im wearing a long sleeved polo neck today it looks so awful.

How close to your body did you hold the can? I use this one and always get an even tan.

Have a long soak in a hot bath and use a body scrub. This should help lessen the streaks. The self tan remover RinkyDinkyPinky has linked to looks good and I'd give that a go too.

If you're not very confident with the sprays then try one of the self tans that are coloured so you can see where you're applying it. This L'Oreal one is good. I mix it with my Clarins body lotion for a lighter tan.

Nail varnish remover.

Not ideal for your skin, but a one off shouldn't harm.

Will get rid of nasty streaks.

Long sleeves and trousers for you for a few days i think. Oops.

No don't get rid of the tan! Now you can see which bits you missed, you can apply another layer, concentrating on those bits, and then tomorrow you will have flawless golden glow.

Even briliant fake tans like st trop need more than 1 application before a perfect result appears. (I usually do 3, 1 each night)

I agree with Jewels! The best way to get rid of streaks is to put on another layer. It's like painting a house - sometimes you just need a couple of coats

ruby I am not orange! Oh ok then, maybe a little but I would rather have flawless orange tan, than stripy stupid one!
