Good daily moisturiser with SPF

Can anyone recommend a good quality everyday facial moisturiser? I use Liz Earle products to cleanse and tone, and currently use a Dermalogica moisturiser but now the summer is fast approaching I would like to try a moisturiser with a built in SPF. Can anyone recommend a product? I am in my 40s and have normal skin.

I like Clinique's SuperDefense - it has an SPF of 25. Most of the other ones seem to be 15 or under. I use in with Eve Lom to cleanse, so a similar regime to yours although I have 4 years on you. I 'should ' have the combination/oily one but I prefer the texture and glidiness of the dry/normal version.

Thanks. I have tried Clinique products in the past and didn't really get on with them. I would prefer a more natural sunblock but find the zinc oxide they use leaves me with a white face!

Dermalogica does do a sun cream and even one that you can add to your usual moisturiser to give t an SPF factor.

Best one I've found is the olay touch of sun 7x daily one.

Clinique Superdefence- doesn't leave you with a white face, and I also use their Super City Block SPF 40 on top- one application of SPF 25 in the morning is not enough to last all day.

Clarins do a great protective anti-pollution day screen that's factor 40 and doesn't leave that annoying greasy/white residue that normal sunscreens do.

It's not that moisturising though so if you've got really dry skin it might not be the best option.

There is also Dr Sebagh but it is very expensive.

I like Avon's Ultimate Day Protection moisturising cream SPF 25. Buy it from ebay and pay a fraction of normal price!

Clarins all have SPF and they're fab at working out which is best for your skin type...

I'm a cheapskate and get through tons of moisturiser so use the Olay complete care UV fluid.

BelleWatling · 05/05/2009 18:23

Kiehl's is good - factor 20 - very light and easily absorbed

Boots no 7 Time resisting day cream SPF 15 is hypoallergenic - I have sensitive skin - I had my face completely blow up once with an Avon face cream (a bit embarrassing as I was a rep at the time) but I always find Boots No 7 agree with my face.

I use the Clarins multi active lotion with SPF 15. Smells and feels gorge and is lovely under foundation.

Philosophy Hope in a Jar SPF 20 is brilliant. I think this is better for combination skin though. QVC sometimes do very good offers on a number of skin care ranges including Philosophy.

Thanks for your suggestions. Time to go and get a few free samples I think!

The Estee Lauder one won best moisturiser with an SPF in some magazine recently. I begged a free sample to try first and have been really happy with it so far.
