... but I need some clothes that are going to be practical as well as flattering for my Mummy Tummy.

Plese help as I'm bored of my maternity clothes and really want to find some new things to wear.

I totally understand. But, you will be losing weight literally every week. And you if you have a csection, then you would be comfortable in different clothes than if you did not.

My staples were:

Still wore my seraphine maternity jeans until about 3 months after the birth

Leggings

Tunic tops (cotton so not clingy)

Chiffon blouses, empire line worked best for me.

Kimono tops were very flattering and there are lots around right now (plus get silk if you can, for that added luxary)

fitted blazer jacket (very slimming, and dresses up the most boring of jeans/post baby top) but then do not spend lots on this, it will be too big for you before you know it! Mine was from H&M and was about £30.

what jewels said, minus the blazer (i am not a blazer kind of girl), and plus some decent black yoga type pants with a roll down waist.

if you are planning to bf, get lots of tank tops for layering, whcih also looks good.

Jewels - thanks for the tips. Have you seen any kimono tops around? I'm so out of touch with normal shopping that I just don't know where to start at the moment.

Mystic - layering sounds like a good idea for bf-ing. Will give that a whirl too.

I know this isn't strictly kimono, but think it is nice and very wareable with linen or jeans [or shorts!]

This has a round neck but it is very feminine and would look great with dark jeans

This is lovely for something a bit more sexy, or for a summers day in the park

This is lovely

This with leggings and pumps or gladiator sandals

infact monsoon have quite a few lovely tunic tops and they are practicle enough to be daywear, but lovely enough for you to feel lovely in them!
