Is it easy to breastfeed in a wrap dress ?

Unforetunately need something to wear for a funeral where I need to take dd2 as she is breastfed and will obv need to feed at some point (hopefully not during the service !).

Don't fit into any of my obvious funeral choices due to dd2 only been a few weeks old - have seen a cheap black wrap dress but not sure how easy it would be to feed discreetly ?

Should I stick to separates ???

I prefer separates as I prefer to lift up and poss flash a bit of tummy (or wear a vesty thing underneath) than to pull down revealing what feels like acres of flesh!
I have friends who prefer it the other way...
I think if you took a black shawl or wrap then you could manage.

thanks Boogeek - Maybe I will stick to separates - don't want to cause too many old people coronaries by flashing too much flesh .

Off to look for cheap gloomy clothes.

I was in a similar situation last year, separates definitely the way to go. I wore a blouse with vest top underneath, easy discrete feeding with no flashing.

when I had dd1 I wrap dresses would be the way to go for my first post-baby party... but was soon proved wrong ... ended up having to sit in - on, in fact, the disabled loo to feed her and the ties of the dress fell down into the loo water and dripped wetly around my knees... oh the glamour!!

also, dress fit perfectly when I first went out but as feed time got closer and boobs got bigger, it started to gaaaaaaaaape.

so, yes - go separates!!!!

I wore wrap dresses and deep v-neck dresses loads when I was breastfeeding. I always had a vest top underneath to keep my modesty. Just pulled the neck to the side and lifted up the vest. No problem. If you're a bit concerned wear a big scarf/wrap thingy just in case.
