Hair dyed blonde - gone REALLY brassy...please help...please

Its my 40th on Thursday, I know I shouldnt do this just before BUT. I had my hilighted roots done completely and its gone yellow. Looks awful.

I have just washed it was the John Frieda tone stuff and it has not worked at all. Please help. I am so miserable

Did you do it yourself? If you did then perhaps it's worth trying to get an appointment at a salon tomorrow as they should be able to help. If it was done at a salon then go back and see what they can do.

My friend who is a hairdresser did it. She hi-lights my hair but this time I went all over. She said she would get me some stuff tomorrow (this John Frieda stuff) and I couldnt bear it so I bought it myself tonight and it has not worked. She is really stressed out and I dont want to bug her.
