I only have about £20.

I spend my life in flip flops but have been given a load of "nice" maternity skirts which would look much nicer with something else iyswim.

I have no idea what is "in", I just know it needs to make me through a summer with a bump, so nothing high.

The skirts & dresses are fairly loose/flowy round the knees iyswim

Nothing wrong with flip-flops, if you ask me, but there are some nice flat sandals in Monsoon, look here:

Sorry, just seen you only want to spend about £20.

Have you looked at New Look? They always have lots of cute sandally things for about £15.

Soemthing like this?

also, at the risk of banging on about them (have mentioned them on a few other threads) I bought a pair of flat gold sandals, very pretty, from Primark the other day - £8.

Very comfortable, not too gladiatorial (they don't come up the leg) and have had loads of comments on them already.

I'm pregnant too

Scootergrrrl · 24/04/2009 08:33

What size feet are you?

PolkSaladLucie · 24/04/2009 08:44

In terms of in, gladiators seem to be the big thing for sandals, and plimsoll style trainers. Little pumps are always cute, especially with skirts, and would be a better way to go if your feet swell (mine did and I was pregnant in winter, so summer must be worse...)

Check out places like Primark and Matalan, they have nice things and once you've found a style you like get a few in a few different colours. Gold and silver are pretty versatile, and coral and purple are this season's colours...

Will go check out new look and primark - thank you.

Am a 7-8
