I don't get linen at all.

Does anyone manage to wear it and not look crumpled up? Or do you have to stand about freshly ironed, not doing anything.

I have never owned a single linen item. It creases and looks stale after an hour, and it isn't actually particularly cool, is it? (Cool as in breathable, not trendy!)

horrible, inexcusable

I'm the same MrsM but I often see something I like, then oh the disappointment. It's 100% linen, so no good for me.

And yet in the summer it's supposed to be 'a good thing'. I'm puzzled.

I think 100% linen tends to be quite heavy but a cotton mix is fine on warm days and doesn't crease as badly. I wear linen trousers a lot in Summer but then most of my time is spent out walking. I wouldn't wear them to somewhere that required a car journey to get to as I'd arrive looking like I'd just fallen out of the washing basket but for a trip to the shops or a wander to the park they're great.

100% linen looks lovely on holiday - on the beach, all creased and casual.

In real life you need a linen mix - today I'm wearing navy linen mix sailor style trousers from M&S - not a crease in sight after all day wear.

Really?! No creases?

They're very nice. The linen part would deter me usually, but maybe a mix is do-able for me. I hate creases.

Even that other crinkly material bothers me a bit. I want to iron it.

They are also a bit stretchy (which I love)as it skims over bumps. I wouldn't have known they had a slight stretch unless I'd seen them in the shop as there's viscose instead of elastane which I usually look for.
