Not sure I have posted link correctly, not done it before! has anyone tried this dress, can't decide if it is hideous or not, and am a bit concerned about the fit. Am after a dress for summer holiday!!

Really nice - I wouldn't size down though - I always find Boden stuff a bit snug - especially if you are taller than about 4'10"!

howtotellmum · 23/04/2009 10:45

I thnk the pattern is over-sized. sorry

ElinorDashwood · 23/04/2009 10:48

It rather like that one, but they are not for the ample of nork in my experience of similar Boden styles.

Tortington · 23/04/2009 10:49

i think its alright for a really expensive boring dress

Not hideous but nothing special.

howtotellmum · 23/04/2009 10:59

what about their Riveria dress?

Please will the style gurus look at my posts about shoes??

CompareTheMeerkat · 23/04/2009 11:01

It looks nice but there is no way I would spend that much on an ordinary dress.

doggiesayswoof · 23/04/2009 11:03

It's nothing special for the price. I don't like the crossover neckline personally, not the right shape for my norks.

theabear · 23/04/2009 12:08

Brilliant thanks for the comments! Am definitely having second thoughts now about that sunflower dress, maybe it is a bit bright for me after all!

What about this:

www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/Womens-Dresses/WH147/Womens-Crinkle-Jersey-Dress.html

Am just a bit concerned that it will be totally shapeless on me as I have very small norks!! Also seems quite expensive for what it is!!

I quite like this- but be warned- I once had a Boden crinkle shirt and the crinkles do not really stay put once washed- they do flattenout, and it ameks the garment larger- so think about siozing.

Do you have good arms/shoulders?

would you wear a strapless bra or none at all ( eek).

theabear · 23/04/2009 12:15

Definitely a strapless bra - do not want to frighten people !!!

Has anyone tried it??

OP posts:
howtotellmum · 23/04/2009 12:29

looks as if we are looking for the same thing- I have it on order and expect it in 2 -3 days!

theabear · 24/04/2009 10:38

I have just ordered the Martinique dress so we shall see what it is like! Was not too sure about the colour so I went for the green..
