Straighteners for straight hair?

I have very straight fine hair in need of more ommph. Read somewhere that straighteners can help??? How? Does anyone do this?

What do I do with them? And which ones do I get?

I would have thought rollers were better for delivering oomph than straighteners.

I use my straigteners to take the oomph out of my (huge) hair.

I have very straight hair (see profile) and I use GHD's just to make it as sleek as possible.

Suwoo - yours looks very nice. I think mine would just look flat though.

Was wondering if straighteners can be used to give it a bit of shape/curl under at the end. Or maybe not...

My hair is straight and quite fine, its past shoulder length but wuth a few gentle layers at the front - I use straighteners as it defines the shorter layers. If you want shape and curl at the ends you might be better with some curling tongs

Hmm, If you want to curl it under maybe tongs would be better. Its not really trendy though is it?
