I have ignored my feet for months now and have decided to sort them out, has anyone got any quick fix ideas how to make them smooth and stay that way without expensive products?

Hangingbelly - I am not totally sure what causes it but my skin gets generally very itchy and dry when I eat a lot of bread and dairy. Having central heating on in winter made it much worse.

I have been cutting right back on bread/biscuits/milk for 6 months and now gone gluten free and lactose free last week. Now I have no gluten containing grains, milk or cheese or yoghurt. I feel generally a lot better and my feet are pretty good and have lost weight as well.

Baby bottom butter rubbed on liberally and then sports socks over the top and to bed.

Looks very sexy!

newton's chiropody sponge and flexitol

MrsMattie · 22/04/2009 19:05

Regular pedicures if you can stretch to that. Nothing like 'em.

Boots have got lots of their foot stuff on buy one, get one half price at the moment. All you need is a foot file to get rid of teh dry/cracked old skin, and then a cream-Flexitol/Scholl/CCS-to rub in at night. Don't be swayed by scrubs/sprays etc, they are quite surplus to requirements.

Get thee to Boots!

I have dragon's feet but on holiday recently the pedicurist used a NUTMEG grater!

Incredible result.
