Dh and I have both got one . I use mine mainly in the summer - good sunhat and doesn't mind being squashed or rolled up.

Apparently they float if you drop them overboard too....

Nuthatch · 21/04/2009 13:24

I love mine. Just brought it out for it's third season and it still looks brand new, even though I wear it continually all summer. I would go for the one with the biggest brim and I reckon the darkest one is the coolest colour.

thanks ladies - don't suppose either of you oculd do a link so i know exactly which one to go for please?

thank you

I don't know about Nuthatch, but I've got a T3

othersideofthefence · 23/04/2009 23:54

I've got a Tilley Bucket Hat and a T5 Airflow. (plus 2 they don't make anymorw) DH has about 6 different Tilley hats.
They all look great even tho' some of them are moew than 10 years old.
I've only just bought the bucket hat and haven't worn it yet, but it folds into an integral pouch and is really lovely.
You can wash them and they don't seem to mind being stuffed in a bag.

othersideofthefence · 23/04/2009 23:55

I can spell the word more - honestly!

Nuthatch · 24/04/2009 09:28

Yes, I have T3 too and don't look anything like the people on the link that mistlethrush did (sure you don't either, mistlethrush). It's quite a cool look in the summer actually, or maybe I'm just kidding myself!

mistlethrush · 27/04/2009 17:47

No - my hair is more wayward for one thing!

I did find that having the strap was really useful when on a walking holiday in Spain - very sunny but windy - hat would have been in the sea without it.
