every time, withot fail, that i go to the hairdresser, i end up fixing it myself when i come home. ive tried different stylists in the same salons, stuck with the same ones for ages, and tried new salons alltogether but i just cant seem to get a value for money decent cut. i must just come across as someone who will accept less than excellent. any tips on how i get my point across without being rude? ive been told that i need to keep going back to the same stylist so they can get to know my hair but really when they do it badly so many times i get fed up spending money on it. am i just stuck with it?

Do you know someone who always has a good haircut? Look for a recommendation from someone, even if it means going up to a stranger in the street who has lovely hair.

IME there are a lot of mediocre hairdressers out there, the really good ones are rare and you need to seek them out.

It might help to bring photos from magazines or the internet of what you a looking for, so the hairdresser can really see what you want.
