I love San Tropez original tanner. This looks wonderful and I will definitely be trying it.

GracieGrace · 20/04/2009 16:09

yes its not like " one day you are white the next orange " either

is it any different to the st tropez daily moisturiser?

bettyboo26 · 20/04/2009 21:46

I've tried the daily moisturiser and was not at all impressed. Defo going to give the mousse a go though. Thanks for the recommendation GG

Jewelsandgems · 20/04/2009 21:48

Loved the everday lotion, so will definately try this one. My only thought is, bet one bottle dos not go as far as the lotion.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 21/04/2009 00:18

do you really need to exfoliate with the St Tropez body polish stuff first?

Jewelsandgems · 21/04/2009 07:56

Yes, but not every day. Just do it every 3 days or so, and this is still fine. It's more important before the first application so that sits well, then each day the tan you build up should be better (if a dodgy first application, the rest of the layers won't have much to 'cling to' IYKWIM)

GracieGrace · 21/04/2009 09:01

god no to exfoliate
i jsut bunged it on - it really doesnt show at ALL for days and you think wtf

then you go GOLDEN

I just use a pair of exfoliating gloves rather than buying the special stuff.

twinkletoesbellyrolls · 21/04/2009 11:52

am so going to try this as I have woken up this morning with legs and arms so orange and streaky from my attempts with the Dove stuff last night. Have had to wear black tights and long sleeves even though it so sunny outside - bah hum bug!!!

GracieGrace · 21/04/2009 15:30

any feedback yet

Am off to Boots this evening after DCs go to bed to purchase.....will report back later in the week

Have decided to use bog-standard body exfoliator and moisturiser beforehand though (rather than St Trop stuff which I imagine will be quite expensive). Any thoughts on this.....let me know before 8pm

mrsmaidamess · 21/04/2009 18:47

I have the normal St. Tropez mousse and find it goes on veh well. Miles easier than lotion.

Jewelsandgems · 21/04/2009 20:22

I use basic nivea on nails, palms, ankles, toes, elbows, knees and does the job very well (and really gunk it on the nails, so no orange situation in the cuticles)

brimfull · 22/04/2009 17:49

can you use it on yer face??

traceybath · 22/04/2009 17:52

ok have bought it today as i'm such a sucker for a recommendation and will be road testing over the next few days . . .
