Shirts, Tops and Tee Shirts with a longer short sleeve (iykwim) Please help

summer is looming large and i hate shoprt sleeves, but i don't want to be the frump in long sleeves on an obviously hot day.

i need shirts for work with a short sleeve - but longer - not the hiddeous non shape of a 3/4.

a couple of years ago, somewhere did a really nice poofed up sleeve with larger cuff - meaning the whole of the top of the arm was covered. something like that would be great.

i really have no ideas, and you ladies know the best shops, especially those who know the city - i am stuck with new look and dorothy perkins which is trying its best to close down the clothes are so fucking hideous.

i am not afraid of colour or pattern. and anything will be considered.

IKWYM... I have a much loved navy, striped tshirt from Gap which has the perfect sleeve length - they stop just above the elbow so are flattering but summery. Haven't been in there recently but am very much hoping they have more of the same this season. If so I will be buying in bulk.

Gap have some longer sleeve t shirts at the moment. In fact, just like proper t shirst should be. Hate cap-sleeved and short short sleeves

Also, look on Uniqlo - have some short-sleeved shirts that might be what you want

I got two from Dorothy perkins today - not somewhere i normally go but they are scoop neck with the longer short sleeves ie just above elbow. black, green, pink, q nice colours 2 for £12 hth

i am of the same persuasion custardo, i hate cap and short sleeves and am desparately on the same search as you!!
