To be honest, I think the first thing you should do is go and buy marie claire and/or grazia to see what the latest looks are, and how they are worn. After that, you can pick out looks you like and start looking for the high st version.

Also, have you lost all your baby weight? Are you going to embark on an excerside regime that may alter your body shape? Because it's not worth spending money now if your body is still changing back.

Hi Milk, you are similar size and height to me although I am more of a good 8 but with your size I would say you could get away with anything.DO you have any bits you don't like? I would suggest getting your self some really good fitting darkish bootcut jeans or skinnies if you can get away with them(i would think you can ) some nice leather sndals for summer and some white vests and some coloured cardis.
DId you have a style beofre your kids? I dont really follow fashion exactly just pick and choose what I like and what suits my shape..haooy to help more if you give an idea of what you like

I'm about to do exactly the same.
Basically the secrets of a good wardrobe is:
(so I've read)
Buy good quality basics ie several pairs of good nicely fitted Jeans if you're going to be more casual, a few good tops, one smart pair of trousers, a nice skirt, tops and bottoms that you can mix and match... etc.. you don't need much, less is more.
Basically you have to make sure that you love EVERYTHING that's in your wardrobe and that the clothes you buy are comfortable, not too loose and not too tight.
My wardrobe is a nightmare at the moment, I don't like ANYTHING that's in it, and I only wear 10% of it anyway.
I'm 33 but always like to look smart and I've lost all my baby weight now as DS is 2 years.
I'm now between a size 6 and 8 so really hard to find clothes that fit (especially Jeans as I'm 5.8").
I'm going to be very careful what I buy for my new wardrobe: nothing too fashionable, nothing crappy from primark, nothing too tight (if it's not comfy you just never wear it).
Sounds boring but a good reliable wardrobe goes a long way, and you won't end up in the same situation next year.
P.s: I agree with Jewls, be careful because if you lose more weight (after all your DS is only 7 months) you'll be getting rid of a lot more stuff in a few months time.
