I want something nice and elegant a la White Company. So white or cream bedlinen, a neutral (but what colour of neutral?) throw and then need to get curtains and paint to tone. And I need a paint decision by tomorrow!! Am down to these two choices of curtain fabric (having spent hours in interior dec shop going through book after book after book) ...

www.lauraashley.com/Cranberrys+Reds/MARCIANA-CUT-PILE-FABRIC/invt/3375435 - not very neutral but it is warm. However, it might tie me down too much with bedlinen/accessories colours

www.lauraashley.com/Naturals+Truffles/MERIBEL-PALE-BAMBOO/invt/3341349 - this is a nice gold coloured silk but how will it hang in a curtain and what paint colour do I put with it?

All ideas welcome!

I'm not keen on either I'm afraid, however I do like this one..

and this one..

I do like white walls and woodwork, looks very clean (not that I could ever have that with a dh and dtbs!)

With the fabrics you have chosen I would go for a creamy colour..

Not sure if that helps

Hi Millie, I like the second one.
I would put it with toning creamy coloured walls and bedding and a stronger gold throw or bedspread. What are your floor/furniture like. Dark wood floorboards and ivory painted furniture would look good.
Hope this helps
