I've got a pair of birkies I live in over the summer but the soles have got grubby looking. Any sugestions as to how I can clean them?

Hope someone comes along, this really annoyed me when I had a pair.

Wash my other halves in the sink with washing up liquid and leave in the garden to dry.

Mine have white soles -scrub with toothpaste or bicarb and dry in the sun

Thanks for your replies. Just reading this again and wasn't sure if it was clear that I meant the inside part of the shoe that your foot sits on - not the bottom of the shoe. Seems to be made of a suede type of material and not sure you can wash them. Whenever I see other people wearing birkies they seem really clean - maybe I just have grubby feet.

Baby wipe? They seem to clean everything else!

I have scrubbed with a nail brush and soapy water but didn't do much
