Can you help me find a dress for DD's Christening?

Hello, I'm not very good at shopping so I hope you lovely ladies can help me!

DD's Christening is on 14th June and we are having a family BBQ after. I'd like a new dress for the day, which I can then also wear to the couple of weddings we have to go to this summer. Maybe also a cardi or something to go over the top if it's cool or for later in the day.

The key thing is that I need to be able to bf in it without taking half of it off! So maybe something slightly stretchy jersey/wraparound? Or perhaps front opening? I'm really rubbish at this!

I am 29, size 10ish with slight post-baby mummy tummy (although it's not too bad ) biggish bf norks, height about 5 feet 3.

I plan to wear my brown wedge gladiator type sandals as the budget doesn't stretch to new shoes too, and will be on grass in the afternoon.

Favourite colours are plummy purples/dark pinks although I also like green. I have dark hair and eyes, fair skin.

Budget under £50....

hit me with it, shopping gurus!

This Wallis dress is just £35.00. The gathered fabric at the front should skim over your "Mummy tummy" nicely.

This Betty Jackson dress is a little over budget at £65.00 but is a gorgeous plum colour so thought it was worth linking to.

Again, this Monsoon dress is a little over budget but the teal green colour is lovely. Not sure it would be dressy enough for a wedding but would be ok for a less formal Christening.

Blow the budget totally!

This is a long shot...

How do you feel about wearing an outfit that has been worn once by a total stranger? Oh, and do you take a size 4 shoe?

Ta da! £80.00 the lot.

Ok, back to the drawing board...

too ruffley?

I bought the one that Beanieb just linked to, for a wedding. But I decided that once on, it looked a bit cheap, so I have taken it back and got this one from MOnsoon:

Sorry I'm not very good at this link business! I'll try once more. It's only the first two dresses, if links don't work (and if you can be bothered!!) go to dorothy perkins website and look for Gold foil bubble dress and uttam green tunic
