Any ideas welcome!
I'm currently using an OiOi Hobo which is great in many respects except I don't want to use a 'proper' changing bag anymore as my DCs are now 2 and 4. I need the perfect new bag - BUT - it must be:

a good size for all my bits and pieces, similar to my OiOi

zip-topped preferably, not flap-over

able to be worn across body so I have free hands

leather ideally

brown preferably!

Doe such a bag exist...I'm beginning to think not!

PS budget is up to £100 which I think is pretty good!

Some of these manly bags meet your criteria:

Sorry!

littlelamb · 08/04/2009 21:23

Get a satchel!!

littlelamb · 08/04/2009 21:24

I WANT THIS

macherie · 08/04/2009 21:29

one of these?

StickLadyLove · 08/04/2009 21:45

Thanks so much for the responses...I love the Mimi Domino, macherie, but it's over-budget and only has a popper to close which I wouldn't find secure enough...

Satchels close with a flap which I definitely don't want as I find flaps annoying on bags...so same goes for the M&S men's bags...

Please don't be put off by my fussiness...any more ideas???

bump (shameless) (now that Apprentice is finished someone else might help!)

Is this the sort of thing you mean? It comes in lots of colours including a dark brown.

Similar here but not leather.

StickLadyLove · 09/04/2009 07:38

Thanks Amandoh - you night owl!! The DKNY is pretty close to what I want but too small...but the House of Fraser link reminded me that I haven't looked in there and there's one in a town near me so I'll check it out.
Thanks for all replies...sticking with the OiOi for now but my search goes on!

I got a lovely one from DS from Monsoon for mothers day. Tis brown and big and has a zip. Can't see on their website but was around £30 and holds wipes, cars (small boy variety), bonjela, work diary and purse no problem.

Will look online and see if I can find - if not will try taking a photo tomorrow.

StickLadyLove · 09/04/2009 20:45

Thanks loflo! Does it have a long strap so you can wear it across body?

No sadly not sticky and thats its one downside. However despite my bingo wings generous upper arms it stays perfectly put on my shoulder. Hooray!!!

StickLadyLove · 09/04/2009 21:28

I am very cross with you pussinjimmychoos....that Storksak one is GORGEOUS and I love it!!!!!!!! BUT why oh why can't it be £66 less?? Beautiful...and it doesn't look like a changing bag, but a lovely handbag. Hmmm...£66...can I st-r-e-e-e-t-c-h???

Update - today I bought the most gorgeous handbag and one that fits all my fussy 'must haves'! It's a Radley and I am very pleased indeed!

OP posts:
BikeRunSki · 10/04/2009 21:51

What is it? Where from? Pics?

StickLadyLove · 15/04/2009 15:58

Update - the bag was a Radley Blyth, the larger one, in choc brown. Gorgeous...and 20% off in House of Fraser BUT it was too small and delicate really for stuffing in packets of hula-hoops and spouty cups. It has been returned!!
So, I am customising a bag I already have, which is nearly perfect but lacks the across body strap. Have ordered matching leather strap and nice man at Timpsons will put a clip at either end of it. A saga, but husband delighted as I'll have spent about £15 rather than £120...

...but I can still keep an eye out, can't I?!
