weight loss supplements that work

anyone can recommend weight loss supplements that really work?
I just had a baby, well, not quite just, 6 weeks ago. During pregnancy piled on 4 stone, and now the weight is not going down that much . I had episiotomy and 3rd degree tear, so still not capable of vigorous exercise, can only manage 1 hour walk 5 times a week, slow walk, cos it still hurts.
I am trying to reduce food intake and not to eat carbs after 6 pm, but thought some supplements can help. I am breastfeeding as weel, but not much milk coming as I got anaemic after PPH.
any feedback from your own experience, ladies?

I would check with your Dr before taking any supplements while breastfeeding - I have no idea if it is safe for baby?

Dearest one, please please relax and rest.
Try to get over having had the baby and healing your body first before you start on any weightloss plan.
You need to eat well and rest to recover.

Then in a few weeks or months time start a regime but please try to allow yourself some time.
Six weeks is just a moment after having the baby

I had to look twice at your '1 hour walk 5 times a week' - surely you've only recently stopped bleeding?

Lying down as much as you can makes irt easier for the body to produce breast milk, so try lying down when you feed.

But how do you know you haven't got much milk? (Whole other can of worms could be opened here).

Make sure you eat protein with every meal, includng breakfast - and that means the equivalent of two eggs or a good dollop of peanut butter.

This will burn slowly and make you less likely to snack - although I'd guess you're supposed to snack when b/fing.

It will come off eventually but you've just been through it and won't be doing yourself or your baby any favours by starving or wearing yourself out.

Self love is called for here.
