B4gger that doesnt link does it. If you can be bothered - Womans. Footwear. Heels. They are the 5th ones in, first page.

Sorry

They dn't scream "wedding" to me. The combination of print and red and height all together seems too look-at-me sexy.
No matter what age you are. Sorry.

If you went VERY simple on top. Maybe a black or white wrap dress, but I don't know if they'd work for a wedding (though this depends on the type of wedding you're going to).

geordieminx · 07/04/2009 16:31

I know. But they are beautiful. And if I cant wear them for wedding then I cant justify them.

Would it make it any better if it was a wedding at a hotel in pm followed by disco/buffet so not posh/no church?

I think they're quite tacky and a bit stripper-ish....sorry

kittykat21 · 07/04/2009 16:40

I think you could wear them as long as your outfit/dress was quite plain. If thats what you'd feel comfortable in then go for it! Personaly not quite my style, but I don't think I could survive more than a couple of hours in heels that high!

stuffitllama · 07/04/2009 16:45

can you buy them for the school run? they look fun

bit attention seeking for a wedding though?

i think you stretch the boundaries of meaning in calling them beautiful but they are really good fun

bleh · 07/04/2009 16:46

I feel your pain geordieminx. I'm trying to come up with a plan to wear suede platform, silver heeled shoes, but I think the old aunties might be a bit

That does make it a bit better

mumof2teenboys · 07/04/2009 16:46

I love them, if you are going to wear them for a wedding, get a really simple black dress and maybe a red handbag/hat to brighten it up? Disclaimer: I have very little idea of what goes with what. I always rely on my 2 teenage sons to help me choose. Remarkably, it seems to work!

TrillianEAstraEgg · 07/04/2009 16:49

Ah, go on. If it's youngish people getting married and not in church then why not?

skramble · 07/04/2009 16:53

Maybe with a classic style dress, def nothing lycra or leapord skin.

geordieminx · 07/04/2009 17:13

Noooooo it would definatley be a plain dress. Its a really informal wedding. My aunt and husband no. 2, just family and his dodgy mates. And really I dont give a rats arse what my family think...... they dont expect anything less from me these days
