talk to me about jeans and finding the right size

Am having a bit of an image crisis on another thread and really need to find some jeans that fit.

I normally wear a size 12 but can pull them down without fastening them but a smaller size make my post-baby belly flab bulge (must do something about that)

I don't have much of a bottom and my waist is only 5 inches smaller than my hips right now, and while I hope this will change, I have nevr been especially curvy.

SO! Which style of jeans would suit me?

I am even considering trying on mens' jeans....
