Hi, I was wondering if anyone has been to one of these. We are off to one tomorrow.
I know you take along a set number of things and you can bring away the same number, but how does the actual swap work?
Is it just direct so you have to swap with someone who likes your stuff too, or is it a free for all?
Is it managed in some way, as in you are able to say no actually I'd rather keep my stuff as I can't find anything I like, or once you hand it over is that the last you see of it?
I think it's a great idea, and we've often done it between us as friends, but it seems like it could be a bit of a scary first come first serve, sharpen your elbows super tussle!?

Well have just been, and if anyone wants to know- it's a free for all!

I've always been a bit scared of the idea. But I like the idea of swapping in principle - what about a website like this in the future? More manageable. There was an article in the Guardian about it earlier this week.
