this one

I linked to it last week or so - well, I've bought it, it's arrived, it's amazing. Really wearable, flattering, simple, timeless, all that stuff. Nice heavy-ish, quality jersey so hangs beautifully, even on my pear-shape.

And MNers get 10% off at my-wardrobe, so not too exxy either.

Highly recommend.

LTEC, you being gorgeous tall and slim and all that, it will obviously look fab on you and similar shaped mnetters, who are slim shouldered and not too big busted, otherwise it will look really crap on, as bow detail on bust area and spaghetti thin straps not a good look on most people, now stop showing off and enjoy wearing it

missblythe · 31/03/2009 16:23

Did you get the orange or the black in the end?

Glad it's as gorge as you hoped!

FigmentOfYourImagination · 31/03/2009 16:23

I'm a big titted MNer and that would look crap on me.

Glad you like it though LTEC

LetThemEatCake · 31/03/2009 16:33

I got both so that I could decide at home - too hard to guess at how things might look. Sending the orange back as the black is infinitely more wearable - it's not stupid money for a dress but still, for £80, I want some longevity and versatility.

Agree, prob best on small-busted types. Well, heck, there has to be some advantages to being shaped like a 12-year-old boy from the waist up!! (and like a 60 year old child-bearing peasant from the waist down....)

anniemac - day and evening, just flip flops by day, wedgey platformy thinsg by night I think. It's really very versatile.

Samsonara - bugger off and give me some useful "parenting 3 aged 3 and under" advice pls!!

I'd look like the larger titted crocapig in that dress
Glad it's nice on you though!!

it's nice ... but I'm pregnant, so at the moment I'm only buying things that I can wear in pregnancy and beyond!! I fear the waistband on that one would cause me probs.

Hey LTEC. Nice dress. Was it you who put a shout out for me the other day? Sorry it's taken me so long to reply!

The dresses I got are no longer online, as were in the sale and must be sold out .

I got them from Ghost, Fat Face, White Stuff and Warehouse, if that's any help at all(probably not!).

mrsmaidamess · 31/03/2009 17:00

Letthem , what do you do bra wise with that dress??

MrsMattie · 31/03/2009 17:08

What about this?

TheDevilEatsNestle · 31/03/2009 17:17

Oh I nosied at your profile and I'm sure that dress will really suit you.

For those of us with 'meh' faces think the bow would be too much.

DrNortherner · 31/03/2009 17:22

WTF is a meh face?

Lovely dress btw

yes, what is a 'meh' face? For some reason I have mental image of goat saying "meh, meh"

mrsmaidamess - no bra. Am really very non-blessed in the breastage department

Oooh Mrs Mattie yes, I have bought that one in every size to accommodate my growing bump (and bum) And will of course wear sans knickers, like the oh-so-classy-AA-modelle.
Shame not to see your dresses, i love a successful spree!! Was hoping to vicariously gloat!

I think "Meh" is meant to mean "Nothing to write home about".

Love the dress LTEC.

If my face wasn't too old to get away with wearing a bow I'd wear it. I'm big boobed though so would wear a v. short cardie over the top.

LetThemEatCake · 31/03/2009 20:19

I thought I'd picked a good'un. Had visions of MNers swooping upon my-wardrobe to buy the must-have dress of S/S09 and then all posting loving notes of thanks to me on this board.

Ah well. Maybe next time.

That will be your pregnancy hormones tinkering with your brain. In a similar way, I thought a candy pink leather jacket was very cool on me one summery shopping day, oops it's pretty crap on me and no-one wanted to beg, borrow or steal it, is still waiting to be ebayed off! Now re the parenting stuff, I can't get excited about commenting on that, I love it and all that but it's like talking about the day job for me, maybe put a thread out, LTEC- everything you want to know about 3 under 3's? And when I'm in the mood I'll add to it.

LetThemEatCake · 31/03/2009 23:03

OH. MY. GOD

are you comparing my dress to a candy pink leather jacket???

Do you not think that my dress has something on your jacket in terms of (ahem) wearability?? and usefulness?
