Ok im going to a ball tomorrow and ive hired the most beautiful gown and am well excited.
I`ve purchased some fake eyelashes-it says i just remove them from the box with some tweezers and apply close to lashes ?
I remember trying this once before and just threw them out !
If i do manage to put them on do i still apply my mascara in the usual way ?
Any tips on applying them without arriving with bat wings and bloodshot eyes - very appreciated x

My SIL (beauty therapist) advised me today to wait until the glue is tacky before trying to stick them on and that you probably only need 3 or 4 per eyelid and start on the outside of your eye (nearest your ear) rather than inside (nearest your nose)

Do i still apply mascara ?

Apply mascara to your own lashes, then add the false ones. Have you bought individual lashes, or full set?

If full set, then try them a few times before the event to make sure you are ok with application technique. I let my glue dry lots, and then put them on starting at the outer corner of eye, and just lay them on (hold them to they are facing right way) as close to lash line as possible. If you have already applied mascara and eyeliner to your own eyes, then any join in the lashes and your eyelid should be unnoticable.

After you have applied then and are happy, then just leave them alone.

Good luck!
