Whats in your 'school run' wardrobe?

Someone please help me i always look such a mess and have no confidence, going to be 30 in a couple of months and having a panic. I'm a size 14, with a belly. Arms and legs are ok, not comfortable in skirts or showing boobs. Not girlie. Have started having regular haircuts, a short dark bob, with a fringe. I have my skincare sorted and natural makeup. I'm quite pale and have bought a body moisturiser with fake tan to give me bit of a glow.

My life consists of the school run, toddler groups, walking the dogs and the supermarket.

I shop in Next and Fat face, sometimes newlook and dotty p's, usually online. Usually i wear black/browns/denim with white tshirts and fleeces as i feel the cold.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well jeans are practical and if well cut look cool.

How about wearing with a tunic type top, a cool necklace and some nice shoes.

What other colours look nice on you - brown is just so blah.

Dresses/cardigans and boots/ballerinas/sandals. I have one pair of dark jeans to wear with a top and cardigan. A nice coat and bag to throw over it all is good.

Can't help sorry as I have probably done the school run less than a dozen times in twelve years. However I'm bumping for you as I'd like some help re: weekend clothes!

Bootcut jeans and a wrap cardigan or v-neck jumper; or a just below the knee A-line-ish skirt with a little cardigan plus boots in winter or ballet flats in summer is my usual look.

Well cut, ie suits your body shape, classic styled and some fashion styled coats and jackets in different colours and textures works for me, I often wearing the same old trousers and top and boots or shoes, but change the coat so the look is different.

god, jeans and more jeans. I am mainly concerned that i have my face on, that's about it!!!

I always get a positive reaction () if I put on a necklace - that's all it needs! A chunky, toddler proof one works every time.

Esp from Sainburys! Cheap and cheerful everytime.

Maybe you could work up from there.
