Do inch loss wraps work, will it get me into a dress for a wedding (hopeful)

I've just booked in for a £50 universal contour body wrap. Supposedly it will make me lose 6 inches (from all over the body)

Is this a complete waste of money?

I've been dieting since start of the year to shift baby weight and have so far got rid of 16 lbs but not quite getting into the dress I want to wear to a wedding in a couple of weeks. It's the boobs really, why won't they deflate!!! and it doesn't look good, they're still like melons....

I had this done to get into a teeny dress before Ascot two years ago - all dignity went out of the window (paper pants, soggy bandages, sludge smeared into every crevice).

The woman meausred me afterwards and claimed I had lost inches but it was sort of '1/4 of an inch from one thigh', '1/6 of an inch from arm top'....I cant say I noticed a huge ddifference but it certainly can't have done any harm!

if it sounds too good to be true and all that - you may lose a little through water loss but its not really going to shift loads. If I were you I would do a bit of a crash weight loss/detox thing for two weeks. Eat fruit and vegetables and protein. No bread, no pasta, no potatoes other than boiled or mashed (without butter!) BUT you can have, for example, a HUGE pile of carrots and peas with some grilled chicken or something. And soup - lots and lots of soup - ideally vegetable and make it more filling by adding lentils.

I know its not very exciting, but it will work. Its almost impossible not to lose weight if you only eat fruit and veg and don't smother them in dressing. And its only for two weeks. Eat oatcakes with some low fat spread or humous if you need a snack to fill you up. Nairns also do sweet oatcakes (stem ginger flavour and berry flavour) which are only 40 cals each and tasty but fill you up more than normal biscuits so you don't eat the whole packet. good luck!

I did this befre my wedding and lost almost a stone in a couple of weeks.
