Tulip skirt fans - Your attention please !

If you wear your shortish tulip/mini skirts on a night out what tops do you wear with them ?

Or even if you are a glam daytime tulip/mini wearer, what do you wear on your top ?

I wear mini tulip skirts almost every day.

I wear either a t-shirt of vest over it during the day, with a hip belt, and at night, tuck a t-shirt or vest in, and wear a waist belt.

ideally wear something close-fitting and tucked-in

definitely not smocky or billowy
