Probably lasts a bot longer than waxing and when the hairs do grow back it is more in shape than waxing - I prefer it anyway

tassisssss · 22/03/2009 19:25

plus it's not as sore as waxing!

I find it hurts like hell when it is being done - your eyes will stream, your nose will run - but it is more precise than waxing. I go once a month (mainly because threading lady charges £3 and last time I went to chi-chi beauty parlour down the road, they charged £14 for eyebrow wax ). I don't have the will to pluck between appointments and tell myself there is no need.

When I had it done I cam out in a dramatic rash. Just thought I'd mention.

this girl makes it look like a walk in the park

I have been doing this for the last year and LOVE it, it doesn't hurt me that much (the odd occasion it has been a bit ouch!) and the redness is gone by the time I'm home. Whenever I tweezed myself I used to get little blood spots and was nowhere near as neat.

It is not too expensive, given it lasts (me) almost 6 weeks. Ideally I'd go once a month but can't afford it so usually get hair cut and brows done on the same day. I pay £10 just outside London.
