Need a special occasion dress size 22/24 - where would you go?

esp if time is short? Budget up to about £150 or so. A spring/ summer day dress look, not too evening-y

Not for me so I'm not sure where to help her start looking because she's not used to i) spending so much or ii) being the centre of attention she'll be on the day.

Any ideas?

Monsoon - They go up to a 22 and are quite generous in sizing. Dorothy Perkins and Evans have gone quite cheap of late so would not go there. Ummm M&S do some nice thigns but haven't seen any dresses lately. What about trying online with Simply Be, Bravissimo etc

Have you looked at www.holyclothing.com?

Agree with Monsoon, their 22s are generous IME! Also try Debenham's Debut collection. Some of the stuff would be ok for day, and I found their 22s to be good size as well.

try ann harvey or elvi. both go up to about a size 26
