I need new low rise knickers that don't cut in to my bum cheeks, pref black multipack

I don't think I have a particularly saggy arse, but admittedly it's not what it was. I have struggled to find a pack of knickers which don't cut right in to my bum. The rise is too long on all the M & S ones, even the ones sold as low rise. I have tried the shorts, but they just felt like I was wearing a thong with no coverage on the bum. Im I being unreasonable wanting my backside to be actually covered by a pair of knickers?

Have tried primark too, same problem.

Have a pair from Rigby and Peller which are amazing, but cost about £20! The M & S ones used to be fine, but not any more .

Sainsburys do good ones.

Thank you. I'll have a look, my friend told me she has the same problem with Sainsburys ones though so not holding out much hope.
Bumping for more ideas

Figleaves have multipacks - they have good reviews?

dexter73 · 18/03/2009 18:37

I have some of these and they are great.

Right then, I'm going to try the figleaves multipacks and the lovely sloggi shorts, thanks haven't slept and dexter73.

Oi! Mutt! I am size 10! and they don't actually dig in, they just start above where my bottom starts so they are really uncomfortable, and I am forever trying to pull them down to cover said arse. I admit things probably aren't as pert as they used to be though!

I am a size 8-10 but I always buy a 12 in knickers!

AnyFucker · 18/03/2009 20:07

I buy size 14 and I am a size 10-12 in clothes.

Do you have a Dunnes near you? I buy all mine from there.

mileniwmffalcon · 18/03/2009 20:08

don't know if they still do them but for years ( actually prolly time for some new ones) i've worn h&m ones. not cut stupidly high like the recent trend, come in a 4 or 5 pack, black, for under a tenner.

MinkyBorage · 18/03/2009 22:13

it's definitely not that they're too tight, it's the shape of them. The rise is too long. However, following this thread I'm beginning to think that perhaps it's my arse going too far south rather than the knickers being all wrong. How depressing! I do wear a size 12 knickers and 10 clothes, I was just pointing out to Mutt that I'm not what you might call large.
Admittedly, I've only tried M & S and primark. No Dunnes unfortunately. H & M an option though. Cheers
