I used to have this done years ago as a friend had been on a course to learn to do it & had told me it wasn't as painful as waxing..... she lied, it felt as though she was tearing my skin off! I did persevere for quite a few sessions as she told me I would get used to it but it didn't get any better so I went back to waxing. She did say I have a very low pain threshold & no - one else was as uncomfortable as me though

Thanks for that - think I'll give it a try. I've been using an epilator thingie but it's too painful on the knees!

well I have made it and it's completely cooled
just tried to take some out and it is way too gloopy to mold with my hands.
will try it in the fridge
