Recommendations for 3 different products please!

not asking much! Thought I'd get it all over with in one thread rather than starting 3 different ones! Here goes ...

First recommendation is for eye makeup remover - I'm fed up of having panda eyes in the morning, but I don't want a huge bottle of eye makeup remover that only lasts for 6 months after opening it! [I use wipes to take my makeup off.]

Second is for a body moisturiser with some self-tan in it that doesn't have that distinctive strange smell don't know if that's possible though!

And finally ... I have fine wavy hair which is shoulder length. I've given up trying to straighten it out and am now "going with" the natural waviness, so can anyone recommend a spray/styling product that will help to bring out the waviness of it?

I use Simple eye make up remover- very good in my experience and only £2 in Tesco (about £3.50 in Boots!)

I also have fine wavy hair - I use plenty of moisturising shampoo and conditioner (Herbal Essences blue one is good, Tigi Moisture Maniac is good too but quite expensive) and a leave in conditioner (John Frieda and Aussie Hair Care do nice ones) so that the waves are nice, soft and shiny rather than a bit fuzzy!

I also use a trick I saw on some makeover show years ago - after washing my hair I comb is through and set my parting - then twist sections into little ringlets and let it dry naturally. Once dry pull your fingers through to loosen up the curls and put in some kind of finishing cream to give it a shine. Always works for me!

Eye make-up remover ~ Bi-Facil from Lancome. 125ml bottle.

Self-tan moisturiser ~ Nivea body sunkissed skin. Doesn't have the usual odd smell but generally that smell can be overcome using any self tan product by adding a little blob of Palmers Cocoa Butter when you put it on.

Can't help with the hair though as I'm a fully paid up member of the poker straight club.

I recommend Dove -summer glow or whatever its called. Cant remember if it has the horrid fake tan smell but it doesn't turn you orange.
For my curls, I use John Frieda Frizz Ease.

Another vote for the Simple eye make-up remover.
Dove self-tanner doesn't smell bad.
I have similar hair to you and use L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni.Art Hairmix Supreme Smooth.

Oooh yes, when I go to my hairdressers they use all the L'Oreal Professional stuff - its great.

waitingforgodot · 13/03/2009 16:27

what is that stuff SuzeMcG?

SuzeMcG · 13/03/2009 16:35

It smoothes your hair, adds a bit of moisture and reduces frizz, and also protects your hair if you use straighteners/hairdryers. I put a little bit through my hair when it is damp. It costs about £10 for 200 ml.

I can only help with the eye makeup remover - I use the Camomile makeup remover from the Body Shop. It does the job - but is like using water. Ie it isn't greasy and make your eyes puff up overnight !
