Hi

trying to wean myself off jeans - fancy trying a wrap dress, as they look easy to wear - anybody got any recommendations? Fabric type + where to get? Plus tailored for smaller height - not too overweight, but not wanting to wear anything too unforgiving.

Jersey type fabric is best I find as it drapes rather than clings and has a bit of stretch. Not sure what your budget is, but last summer i got loads of wrap dresses from H & M and they have lasted me so well- was gutted when I had to chuck the black one after I got bleach on it, grr!!

Think M & S would be a good bet too.

Oh they are lovely.

Well done you for trying something new.

Great plains, kaliko, FC are some of myy favourites, and you can find them all under one roof in john lewis.

I have 5 wrap dresses - they are so easy to wear. My fave is from M&S, and they would help if you need a petite. My favourites are a black and white spotty one from Laura Ashley - they do quite a few wraps, and a red poppy print one from Boden, but I don't think they have any this season.

Good luck!
