I am trying to get out the jeans only rut.

I have also ordered (deep breath) my very first pair of black (plain) leggings. 3/4 length. To be worn only under very long tunic dresses!!! And ballet pumps.

If you like the trousers above can you think of something very similar but cheaper as I am spending a lot on getting new clothes and I am worrying its all adding up. But I know this is pretty cheap so will probably get it anyway.

They look lie perfectly good wide leg trousers to me. Go for it. You can always sell them again if they don't suit you.

Personally I avoid checks in trousers as I don't think they are very flattering - I'd prefer block colour or a pinstripe.

oh I actually quite like checks but I havent had check trousers since I was a size 12 so maybe thats why!

I do think I will get them.
