customer service - where on your high street do you really get good service?

Does any of your local clothing chains where they know you personally and greet you by your name? I have just lost my job at Principles along with all the other girls and I was just wondering if there is another chain where you are greeted as a regular by name. I personally can't think of a chain that I go into in my town and be greeted like we greeted our customers.

I have had good service in M&S and Wallis but also rubbish in the same shops.

We have loads of shops where we are greeted by name but they are all independent and none of them are clothing. We're in a small town, so people get known quite quickly. (I've never been in Principles, but it sounds like it was a lovely place to work.)

i used to work for monsoon, who were very keen on customer service, getting to know the customers ect. when i have been in recently it has not been so good, but i think alot of it is down to the individual store manager rather than the brand

Gran claims they know her in Bonne Marche but to be fair she does buy all her clothes there.

Apart from John Lewis you mean? Cos that sort of goes with saying really.
