nailpolish · 09/03/2009 13:50

jellie shoes

seeker · 09/03/2009 13:57

She's 13 - but looks disconcertingly closer to 17 in the dress!

nailpolish has the full list, but also more hairspray than you can possibly imagine (boots firm hold unperfumed was my drug of choice back in the day...). I always thought that if you lit a match in the ladies loos in most of the clubs I went to, the whole place would go up.

Those New Look pumps are brilliant - the pink ones would look good!

Very curly hair1

I thought I might get some big rollers and set her hair for her - if I can remember how to do it! I'm thinking Farah Fawcett-Major!

oh god yes the hairspray - how could i forget!
but my fave was harmony

this bag would be quite good

nailpolish · 09/03/2009 14:03

dont forget also blue or neon pink nailpolish

and a whole can of impulse 'chic' (ah those were the days...)

vonsudenfed · 09/03/2009 14:07

In the early 80s I used to do my Farah Fawcett hair with curling tongs (suspect you could improvise with straightening irons!). But for the full later 80s hair, it's backcomb and spray, all the way!

vonsudenfed · 09/03/2009 14:08

oh, and loads of bangles as well as beads, and tie bits of lace in her hair in the style of early madonna!

seeker · 09/03/2009 14:24

This is fab! I've got my very own Barbie Doll to play with - come and play too, everyone!

She has waist length hair - so probably 2 cans of Harmony!
