wanted mac/trenchcoat long sleeved with full fifties feel about it

I've posted on here before about my 50s style figure and how I want to make the most of it. Anyway, I saw a pic of Emma Bunton in a magazine last week and she looked gorgeous in stiletto heels and a mac. The mac was single breasted, belted and fitted but with a wide skirt to the knee. Looked very sexy (i.e was too long to show if there was anything on underneath

now I want one. Got the stilettos today (am a stiletto virgin but determined to cross that line) but really need the mac, preferably bright colour, preferable red

Can anyone help? Most macs I see are too short or have weird 3/4 length sleeves.

I know this has some of the things you didn't want (sleeves, not red), but is this the sort of thing, do you think, barring those?

I actually saw the M&S one today and it was lovely, but don't like the 3/4 length sleeves. I fear cold wrists otherwise it would've been perfect and I would have snapped it up there and then.

Other one is a little short. Want to wear with a skirt so I can show my legs, but unfortunately, I am not as young, nor as skinny as the model!

It's difficult, isn't it. A lot of coats seem to have 3/4 length sleeves atm. Long gloves, to fill the gap?

ah now, i love this, but it's got the damned short sleeves, long gloves may be the way forward
