fin42 · 06/03/2009 22:51

A long cardi with long sleeved crew neck or scoop neck top, skinny jeans and long suede boots.
I've always been a big fan of purples and greys, but navy has just come into my radar.
I love layers.

Sorrento · 06/03/2009 23:33

Dressing gown mainly

tigerdriver · 06/03/2009 23:37

work:dresses and leather jacket, have forsaken suits forever

mummy stuff: sequinned t-shirt, cashmere cardigan, grey cargo pants, trainers

evening: purple stuff, moroccan slippers, lots of beads

ilovespagbol · 06/03/2009 23:55

Wide bottom jeans, most flattering! and any top that will allow me to whip my breasts out (granddad and wrap round generally) as am breastfeeding and can only pull clothing down from the top, not pull up from the waitband as then I would be reminded of my cottage loaf belly....
I did put on a wrap round dress the other day, also flattering as who can tell what is the wrapped material or you?
Zebra, what about you?

Zebraa · 07/03/2009 22:24

I rotate the following outfits usually...

Skinny jeans, very high heels and a vest top with a cardigan

Regular boot cut jeans with some form of top and heels of some description

Dress with tights and heels or heeled knee boots.

However, I've been pregnant practically non stop for 2 years so I'm thinking of splashing out on a whole new wardrobe!

If only we weren't facing recession...

feet-depending on weather, biker boots, knee length boots, converse, flip flops, birkenstocks

bottom-boyfriend jeans, skinny jeans, combats, knee length skirts (A-line), knee length denim shorts, plum-coloured tights, black woolly tights

top-vests, cardigans of every description (I feel the cold), tunic tops with/without thin long-sleeved jumper underneath, sweater dresses (various types), white shirts, blazers, leather jacket

accessories-huuuuge number of various floaty and more substantial types of scarf, long necklaces, bangles, woolly hats in various colours/patterns, leather gloves in black/purple, several cross-body bags (not designer, can't be arsed with that)

Ronaldinhio · 07/03/2009 23:07

suits; mostly grey and navy but trot out some black as well when the need arises

a variety of very boring work shirts to go with them in a stiff city banker type stylie
Wrap shirts

some wrap tops for dress down haha

I wear only grey, navy, white, cream, black ever

For off duty
Jeans or smart trousers, more often trousers than jeans
longer t-shirts
oversized knit wear
boots or kurt geiger converse style trainers

Many long interesting necklaces, missoni scarfs, statement jewellery

I sound like a wanker but it's really just a very organised version of a uniform for different occasions

Make up nail varnish blow dry

(I used to be a goth, I miss it I think )

DrTrillianAstra · 07/03/2009 23:18

I have a nice short-sleeved jersey dress in black/blue/green/white pattern that is quite cleavagey if worn along or can be more sensible with a black or white little top under it. That's my favourite piece of clothing.

used2bthin · 07/03/2009 23:25

Jeans, top in navy, purple or green with contrasting vest underneath, log cardigan. And my new converse! Thats day time atm.

For going out (dating at the moment so have one outfit that I have used for daes with two different men so far!) also wear if going out for the day without DD shopping or whatever with a friend-skinny jeans, top with floaty ruffley collar thing and bow, navy cardigan, knee high brown flat boots over jeans. And lots of chunky jewelery.

AnyFucker · 07/03/2009 23:27

2 men ?????

used2bthin · 07/03/2009 23:33

Sadly no jealousy required, don't think either dates will come to more, except maybe friendship with one of them. Fun though!

lou33 · 07/03/2009 23:41

hoochie, i would like your velvet trousers please

thank you

BeckhamSpice · 07/03/2009 23:46

when commuting between LA and Milan - 5 inch stilettos, wet look leggings, fur coat and birkin

when playing with the ds - my casual 5 inch stilettos, pencil skirt and sprayed on cashmere top

when relaxing in Milan with husband - 5 inch stilettos, platinum nipple tassles and a liberal coating of Fake Bake.

PlumpRumpSoggyBaps · 08/03/2009 00:13

Oh dear. This thread has confirmed what I've been ignoring thinking for too long- I am indeed a slattern/frump/lazy clothes-mare.

At home ( no intention of leaving house for the day)- 'leisure pants' (sweat bottoms), long-sleeved t-shirt in pink, purple, burgundy, cream or black. 'Comfy' bra-top thingy. Non-matching knickers. 'Fun' socks, slippers.

Daytime (leaving house)- v old bootleg jeans (comfy), same tops as for 'at home', ditto underwear. Brown ankle boots. Or black shoeboots, depending on top.

Going out- erm.... oh, brown suedey-type trousers and (probably) similar tops as before.

I've broken more necklaces than I can bear to think about (clumsy, forget I'm wearing them and get them caught or something), only ever wear my beautiful wedding/engagement rings outside the house and rarely remember to put earrings in. Cannot 'do' scarves- they drape in gravy, get caught in stuff etc....

But in summer I wear maxi-dresses with lovely sparkly sandals. Roll on summer...

i need to get more wear out of this before it gets too warm: flat black rocket dog boots, thick woolly tights, above knee denim skirt with sailor-type button fastening at the side, layered t-shirts in shades of blue/purple/grey, black jumper with huge oversized roll-neck collar. actually should be easy enough to summerise - swap tights n boots for leggings and pumps/flipflops, take jumper off

going out i tend to wear whatever i've bought most recently, usually dress and boots. i just bought this and this so that'll be what i wear next time.

DrTrillianAstra · 08/03/2009 10:37

Non-matching knickers? How many pairs do you wear?

Or is this like the 'half a twix' thing, and one knickers ir one leg, so you have each side a different colour?

lou33 · 08/03/2009 16:17

funnily enough i do , hoochie!

janeite · 08/03/2009 16:24

I quite like what I'm wearing today:
very dark denim pencil skirt
purple v neck top with ace trin
short sleeved black cardigan
opaques
pixie boots

But my favourite outfit of all is:
a black skirt with Greek-style men on it
black jumper
mary jane shoes
bright tights - purple or teal or magenta

PlumpRumpSoggyBaps · 08/03/2009 16:47

at DrTrillianAstra. I LOVE the idea of different colour sides on my knickers. Maybe I'll make some.....
