Philosphy 'Purity' because it is a cleanser toner and eye make up remover all in one, and is fabulous to boot.

Moisturiser, the yellow Clinique one, Benefit 'Dear John' or the one my aromatherapist best friend makes for me.

But it depends what your skin is like.

Soap and water to get the dirt off then baby oil on the dry bits.

dustbuster · 04/03/2009 21:13

I have started using the oil cleansing method after reading about it on here. It is super cheap and I am loving my skin. You can adjust the balance of oils to suit your skin type:

I don't moisturise at night now, in the day time I use Olay Total Effects with SPF 15, but tbh I'm not that mad about it.

Dermalogica cleanser and a home made moisturiser using geranium & frankincense essential oils and a healthy dollop of rosehip seed oil.

geraldinetheluckygoat · 04/03/2009 21:19

soap and water to cleanse, clinique toner and moisteriser as i got some for christmas, but ordinarily i would use soap and water then any old moisteriser (last one from lidl - a bit greasy for summer but nice in winter when my face dries out!)

Clinique 1,2,3....facial wash, toner and moisturiser. Must stay it took me a month or so before I reaised it was really lovely and that my make up went on so well with it etc.

dustbuster · 04/03/2009 21:25

There's another thread about the oil cleansing from a few months back with lots of oil cleansing "success stories".

geraldinetheluckygoat · 04/03/2009 21:26

frumpygrumpy, it is good, isnt it, its the only thing that stops me getting the odd annoying monthly spot on my chin!

domesticallychallenged · 04/03/2009 21:27

So maybe all I need to buy tomorrow is castor oil!!

geraldine, i wish I only got the odd spot. I get a face FULL but its nothing to do with Clinique I have wild hormones and at certain times I get major breakout. Other times though my skin glows and I put that down to Clinique Maybe pricey but definitely worth it.

Pinner35 · 04/03/2009 21:35

I use clarins.....a bit pricey (£14 each or cleanser and toner and about £35 for moisturizer) but they all last for ages. It works well and I am always getting complimented on my "fresh face".

geraldinetheluckygoat · 04/03/2009 21:42

Oh no, thats a pain, frumpy. Glad you are glowing at all other times though I do love it, it is expensive but not obscenely so, and it does last quite a while.

frumpygrumpy · 04/03/2009 21:48

Totally agree. Do you use the eye cream? It makes the blemish stick thing go on a treat. Do I sound obsessed?

geraldinetheluckygoat · 04/03/2009 22:02

a little. have you tried the mascara and lip glosses? I like the idea of eye cream, may demand it for birthday!!!

frumpygrumpy · 04/03/2009 22:21

love the mascara I use All About Eyes Rich and while it doesn't make my puffy, piggy eyes much different......it does make the concealer go on a treat.

I use Ren facewash (Rosa), Aveda exfoliator/toner, and the best every moisturiser: Ren day moisturiser -

and Ren overnight serum at night. x

emblestrembles · 05/03/2009 19:55

Clarins Pure Melt cleansing gel does the job of cleanser and toner. Its a revelation.

Goes on oily onto dry skin. Then you add water and massage in, then you wash off. I can't preach about this stuff enough!!!

Goober · 05/03/2009 19:57

Tesco Value facial wipes, then Olay.
