Can anyone help me find post - CS wound and "overhang" friendly jeans / casual trousers?

I had a CS nearly thrtee weeks ago. Bump was all baby but pre-pregnancy jeans don't do up over the funny overhang thing over my wound, which is still quite tender, so I def. don't want skinny fit! Mat trousers look very baggy. I want some comfy jeans - maybe in the boyfriend style, not too expensive - I'll pay up to about £35.00. I'm usually a 10 but probably a 12 at the moment. Any suggestions?

Three weeks ago? Stick to loose clothes, you don't want anything rubbing your wound.

I pretty much lived in a knee-length denim skirt for a few months after my cs. The denim had a bit of stretch in it so I felt more pulled in with nothing rubbing my wound.
I don't think I attempted trousers for a good few months....

the M&S £12 jeans sit on the waist, any lower and garments will be a bit close for comfort.

H&M do high waisted jeans for £20.

uniqlo are fairly muffin friendly at £20.

bound to be plenty in primark.

you can put a sanitary towel face in over the scar.

i havent been shopping.
much

big pants help - at least they give a bit of protection from rubbing of the jeans. The per una jeans are quite comfy, tum/scarwise. Have you tried eBay for a cheap pair of bootlegs/kickflares - perhaps a size up from your usual.

Thanks for the tips - esp the sanitary towel one I have fantastic big pants from M&S - 7 pairs of black ones for a fiver. There's a lot of high waisted trousers about now - but I'm not convinced by them. I might give the M&S £12 jeans a whirl. I don't feel like going shopping in the real world but could order these online.

levi 501s! ebay has quite a few

I had this problem and got some high waisted ones from Next.

Lots of high waisted jeans around at the moment (I got a nice pair from Fat Face pre-Xmas). Also, for something more casual and v comfy, I love the White Stuff Dolce pants - essentially tracky bottoms/yoga pants but much sufficiently stylish to be able to wear them outside they gym/house -long, flared and a really nice fabric. I have many a friend who swore by them post-pregnancy ...

I love my 501s - but they are much too tight just now - can't get the zip up. I'm a bumless wonder - completely lacking in any padding on my bony rear so I don't know if going a size up in 501s will just make me look ridiculous from behind. I've ordered the M&S £12 wonder jeans - I figure if they are no good I haven't exactly splurged out a vast amounts of cash.
