What do you think of them? Are they worth the price (and cost of shipping for me)?
Have they helped your skin?

Thanks!!

Hi there - must admit I love them! Swear by Cleanse & Polish and really like her eye cream. Full of really lovely stuff too. I think they are worth the money and fortunately the John Lewis near me sells them so I don't have to pay postage - hooray!

MadameCastafiore · 01/03/2009 18:34

They helped to start with and then I ended up with a face full of boils - I am not the only person for this to happen to either!

It happened once I started using the whole range - I was fine with cleanse and polish - think it was the face cream that I reacted to.

Jacksmama · 01/03/2009 18:34

Do you use the eyebright soothing lotion or the smoothing eye serum?

I didn't realise John Lewis might stock them. wonder if my local one does? I will have to check it out.

bluebump · 01/03/2009 18:36

I really like the range, I like Cleanse and Polish, the eye cream (the day one), the shower gel, and I like the brightening mask too.

bluesky · 01/03/2009 18:36

love the cleanse and polish, have used her products for about 4 years.

bluesky · 01/03/2009 18:36

3 of us replying in the same minute!

Jacksmama · 01/03/2009 18:39

I live in Canada so would have to get them shipped from the U.S., was wondering if it was worth it because there is nowhere local to buy the range.

Do any of you use the toner?

I have had rather difficult skin since DS was born - blemish-prone at times, dry at others, dull, tight... am looking for something to make my skin feel comfortable again.

Daily eye repair - I have eczema so my eyelids can get very flaky and this stuff seems to help. Fortunately I've had no problems with boils...

Love watching Liz on QVC too - yes, I am that sad.

Lilymaid · 01/03/2009 18:45

LIz Earle warning - prices go up tomorrow - so if you are intending to order via the Liz Earle website, do so tonight!
I love the Cleanse & Polish, the shower gel, the moisturiser (though it lacks SPF) and the toner and Eye Bright (lovely for hay fever affected eyes).

sincitylover · 01/03/2009 18:46

yes love them esp cleanse and polish, eyebright and also one of her moisturisers.

hettie · 02/03/2009 13:21

what do they smell like? Espec cleanse and polish- I am very fussy about how things smell, worry that essential oils will overwhelm me! Am using the tesco cream/oil cleanser at mo which is v nice

lilolilmanchester · 02/03/2009 13:25

I use LE cleanse & polish & toner religiously, and also use eyebright. Have used lots of other bits and pieces (they send you a free sample with your order) and all very nice.

I use cleanse and polish. I'm a new convert. I find cleanse and polish is gentle and I am suffering from fewer blemishes since using it.

I'm about to try her moisturiser too as I use an expensive one atm and can't really afford to keep it up, so I'm looking for a cheaper on that will giv me the same results.

Christiana, that oil cleansing seems almost to good to be true !

I ordered the Spring special offer on the Liz Earle website - £38 or so for loads of stuff.

Have been using cleanse & polish for several days now and so far so good. Also using the skin tonic - still on old moisturizer stock so far. I had been using a starter pack of Eve Lom which was lovely but the cost was just too much to carry on - hence the Liz Earle.

I like it.

TheThoughtPolice · 02/03/2009 15:13

Maybe I'll gove the oil thing a go when I'm finished with the next lot of Liz Earle (I've just reordered)

MrsMattie · 02/03/2009 15:15

I was promised that the cleanse and polish thing would 'change my life'. Ok, not quite , but I did hear so many good things about it ...and have been mightily disappointed. It's a so-so facial wash that comes with a few annoying little cloths. Hot water and a flannel might have the same affect, methinks.

Sorry to be a misog, but that was my experience.

I am going to (finally) break the bank and give the Eve Lom stuff that everyone harps on about a whirl. It better be good, or heads will roll

FriarKewcumber · 02/03/2009 15:19

body wash is divine
I like her moisturiser too

FriarKewcumber · 02/03/2009 15:20

I can go wihtout body cream if I use her body wash its so gentle - have used it on DS since small and wash his hair in it too.

I think it is over rated.
I bought the serum a while back and it's okay, but not special.
I hate the strong smell of most of the stuff.
Sadly, I think a lot of the stuff sells through over-hyping it!

I have very sensitive skin and have tried loads of products over the years- current favourites are REN, and I amalso using very cheap L'Oreal cleanser for mature skin, and their eye make up remover, which are great- and then using REN and Clinique moisturiser, Super Defence SPF 25 and Frankinsence Repair serum at night and they are both around £30 and great.
