this dress
Which I have ordered today...

Would these shoes go with it???

If not, then any other suggestions for shoes that arent hideously uncomfortable that might go with it???

Hmmm... not sure about the colour but the shape should go. I must say when I saw the netaporter page opening I thought and . But that dress is both lovely and reasonably priced.

yousaidit · 26/02/2009 20:49

ooh yesh, i heart that outfit 2pt4kids... damn you!!

Ronaldinhio · 26/02/2009 20:50

No you may not wear that dress with those shoes.
The dress is v lovely but is also understated and cheap shoes might cheapen it.

What are your legs like?

Breizhette · 26/02/2009 20:51

The shape works, not sure about the colour either.

samsonara · 26/02/2009 20:53

lovley dress don't ruin with those shoes they are wrong colour

2pt4kids · 26/02/2009 20:53

What about the same shoes but in black?
I cant afford anything more expensive than those, so posh shoes are out!

Legs are ok, slightly wide calfs in proportion to rest of (size 10) me

Ronaldinhio · 26/02/2009 20:54

similar to what they are shown with

samsonara · 26/02/2009 20:55

no the pattern stripe is wrong , you need plain unless its purple

Ronaldinhio · 26/02/2009 20:56

nice?

2pt4kids · 26/02/2009 20:57

Oh I like the glitzy gladiator ones and v v cheap too... but am I brave enough??? they are quite daring.
Need to wear outfit to a wedding evening party plus a girly night out in a couple of weeks. Will they be ok for those?

OP posts:
2pt4kids · 26/02/2009 20:58

samsonara · 26/02/2009 21:07

Marthasmama · 26/02/2009 21:07

Ronaldinhio · 26/02/2009 21:08

blue will go with purple and are tres funky

as ever I'm in love with samsonara's picks

superfrenchie1 · 26/02/2009 21:10

or if you are going for comfort and all-night danceability etc maybethese? they tick the round toe and cone heel boxes.

i think black is good with that dress.

i would probably do something likethis with black tights too.

such a great dress!

superfrenchie1 · 26/02/2009 21:12

sorry i take it back marthasmama's silver office pair are the best, really lovely, and you said you were going to a wedding, i forgot - ignore my last post

samsonara · 26/02/2009 21:16

See by Chloe style is all about being a bit cool and different so be brave with colour

2pt4kids · 26/02/2009 21:16

Samsonara - I love the 2nd purple ones. I think they are the wrong purple for the dress though, shame.

I am torn between the blue ones Ronaldinhio linked to here

and the silver ones marthasmummy found here

OP posts:
2pt4kids · 26/02/2009 21:17

OP posts:
samsonara · 26/02/2009 21:17
