Or not of course.

Only if you are about a size 6.

fryalot · 26/02/2009 10:05

we-ell, if this is the look they're going for

MrsMattie · 26/02/2009 10:06

lol!@Squonk. Yes, precisely what I was imagining.

EldonAve · 26/02/2009 10:06

they are just so impractical - what about when you need a wee?

TheCrackFox · 26/02/2009 10:08

I was thinking that Eldon. I have enough problems going for a wee in public toilets (think of 3 year old trying to unlock door, you get the picture) without added complications.

Hassled · 26/02/2009 10:08

It is all a bit Abigail's Party. Plus, there's the crucial weeing issue: a)you have to take it all off and b) when you have taken it all off, you have dangly bits of strap etc to avoid as you pee.

Hassled · 26/02/2009 10:09

X posts - we're all way too practically minded

fryalot · 26/02/2009 10:10

just out of curiosity... how often do you lot have to stop for a wee whilst doing the school run?

SoupDragon · 26/02/2009 10:10

Only if you want to look like a tw*t.

largeginandtonic · 26/02/2009 10:10

I was thinking about the wee issue, perhaps they shoud make some with poppers in the bottom like baby dungarees

I like the non showing legs aspect of them, i hate my legs. Not thrilled about my ass atm either though and i think it may look cosiderably larger in it.

Looks vast anyhoo though.

Dunno.

Hassled, was just about to post "a bit Abigail's party"

I think I would look like George Dawes, so maybe not for me.

I used to have pale blue polka dot pyjamas like that first link when I was 6. I can still remember the effort it took to go to the loo.

I am not one of those mummies who change for the school run Squonk. I will be dodging dangly straps all day

Jumpsuits? shudders

This is why I refuse to have either style or beauty.

fryalot · 26/02/2009 10:14

aaah, ok LG&T!

I wondered, you know...

Hassled · 26/02/2009 10:15

Ah now my legs are my only assets - I have great legs. It's the tummy I need to worry about - a jumpsuit would make me look like a Michelin Man.

And Squonk, since you ask, there is something strange about the school run which makes me want to wee. The run takes about an hour (2 schools) and by the time we're back my pelvic floor muscles are being tested to the absolute limit .

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 26/02/2009 10:15

Thank God this fashion has not made it to South Wales!

largeginandtonic · 26/02/2009 10:15

I am slightly disturbed by this from Top Shop though.

Surely not?

PMSL at the Glam rock one from Top Shop LGAT

I would look like a snowman and imagine the camels hoof in that baby

largeginandtonic · 26/02/2009 10:23

Oooh i like it Ruby. I need to shift the baby weight first i think to feel confident enough to wear it.

Camel hoofs a plenty in the white nightmare!

Hassled · 26/02/2009 10:24

We seem to have moved from Abigail's Party to teh Spiders From Mars

Hassled · 26/02/2009 10:25

Ruby's one is nice - only for the young and very slim, I'd say.

WilyWombat · 26/02/2009 10:26

OK so I was expecting to hate this but its quite nice...had visions of the 80s boiler suit style, I really would only wear this though if I were a genie and having a "what should I wear day"

I too agree the whole sitting on the loo thing with your suit round your ankles puts me off, bad enough in the summer but in the winter...brrrrr

If you do wear it, trust me in 10 years you will be looking back and laughing about it.

Themasterandmargaritas · 26/02/2009 10:27

Oi LG&T you stole my jumpsuit. Get your own, I saw it first.
